We have introduced a new "beta" flow that streamlines the wrap-up steps of your inspection. This allows both you (and anyone else present) to e-sign and review your reports inside the myInspections app. We've done a quite large overhaul of the process end-to-end for a number of our common use cases, and I think you'll be very pleased with the overall experience. Your property photos that you assign in your web interface will now appear inside the app. This update also includes a number of UI and polish improvements. These updates will appear in app version 1.10.1, published today. Happy inspecting!

Introducing a new inspection export feature to backup all your inspection data. From your inspection page, click the export button to be sent an email w/ a .zip export which includes: - all the original copies of your photos & videos - a PDF of your report - bonus: a .txt and a .json file summarizing for searchability or for any AI operations If you'd like to see anything else included in our exports, or a similar feature, please reach out!

By popular request, we have made some changes to the myInspections app to no longer save captured photos and videos to the camera roll. We have introduced a new bulk import feature to help you import your portfolio of properties before you do any inspections. We support Excel, CSV, and JSON files, or you can simply copy-paste a list of your properties (as long as they are all on a seperate line!). Our AI-assisted import then works with you to format the various columns of your file into the format that best suites you for import. What's changed? • Inspection photos are no longer saved to your camera roll. • They won't appear in iCloud, Google Photos, or any other cloud backup service • Photos are stored in the app's local storage and uploaded securely to your myInspections account Your inspection data is still safely backed up on our servers. We've heard you! We've had many requests to add support for importing properties to myInspections in bulk. When going to create a new property use the new "Import multiple" button so easily add a number of properties at the same time - and also apply a template to all the properties if required.

A much requested improvement for templates is being able to see which properties are currently using the template. We've reworked templates so you can now see these associated properties listed out when viewing a single template.

Managing larger teams on myInspections is now easier thanks to new improvements on our teams page. It's now possible to sort your team members making it easier to find what you're after, and we've also added pagination.

Following on from our improvements uploading your inspections to myInspections, we’ve now rolled out a new image optimization pipeline. This change will make viewing inspections by you and your team much faster, and also significantly reduce the time it takes to render inspection PDFs. 

You can now update your preferred timezone in your user settings. Having the correct timezone ensures that PDF copies of your inspection reports will show the correct timestamp that photos and videos were captured.

Expanding on the recent improvements to property templates, we've added the ability to duplicate templates. This makes it easy for you to scaffold out templates for similar properties.

You can now create custom checklists to reuse in your property templates, or manage your existing checklists made from the app. Any changes you make to checklists that are used by properties will be applied to any future inspections made using those templates.

myInspections now supports creating and managing your property templates on the web. This makes it easy for you to create re-usable layouts that you can apply to existing and new properties. Using property templates not only makes it faster to perform new inspections, it also makes it easier for you to keep your inspections consistent.
