We’re super excited to announce our latest feature: real-time media syncing!
Previously, everything was uploaded only at the end of an inspection, which sometimes led to frustrating delays, especially in areas with poor internet connectivity. Now, as you conduct inspections, photos and data will upload instantly in the background.
With this new feature, your media syncs as you go, speeding up the finalisation process and making it easier to get signatures on-site. It also reduces the risk of data loss or syncing issues, particularly in areas with poor internet connectivity.
You can toggle this feature on or off in the app settings, which is handy if you want to conserve mobile data or battery life. If you prefer, you can still save inspections as drafts and upload them later over Wi-Fi, just like before.

How to get it
This feature is available in the latest version of the myInspections app (version 1.6.2). To update:
On iOS: Open the App Store, go to your profile, and scroll to see pending updates. Find myInspections and tap “Update.”
On Android: Open the Google Play Store, tap the menu or your profile icon, go to “My apps & games,” and find myInspections to update it.
