How to delete an inspection

Sometimes, you might need to delete an inspection. This could be because you created a test inspection while trying out the app or decided it would be better to start fresh with a new inspection. Whatever the reason, here are step-by-step instructions to guide you through deleting an inspection.

Step-by-step: Delete an inspection

  1. Navigate to the property where the inspection is located.
  2. Tap on the inspection you wish to delete.
  3. Scroll down and select “Edit Inspection.”
  4. Press the “Void Inspection” button. This action voids the inspection and creates a duplicate for you to make any necessary changes.
  5. If you decide to completely remove the inspection without making changes, tap “Edit” at the top of the screen, scroll to the bottom, and click “Delete Inspection.” This will remove the duplicate copy from your app.

In some cases, you may not be able to delete an inspection if the app was uninstalled and then reinstalled, or perhaps you signed in to the app as an alternate user. When this happens, the "Edit Inspection" option might not appear. If you find yourself in this situation, please reach out to our customer service team for assistance. Provide us with the property name, address, and inspection date, and we’ll help you remove the inspection as a customer service request.
