Assign properties to teammates

Assigning lets you delegate properties in your portfolio, and the responsibility to inspect them, to your teammates. A property can be assigned to any number of team members, and it is managed from the property's page on the web dashboard.

What assignment does

• Assigned teammates receive the notifications when the property is next due for an inspection.
• Importantly, teammates with the Inspector role can only see the properties assigned to them. Assignment is how you decide which parts of your portfolio each inspector works with.
• Assigned properties sit at the top of the teammate's dashboard in the app.

Assigning a property

1. Open the property from "Properties" in the web dashboard.
2. Press "Add team member" on the "Assign" card.
3. Choose a teammate. You can also assign someone you have invited to your team before they have accepted, and the assignment takes effect when they join.

To unassign someone, press the remove button beside their name. Assigning properties is part of the Team plan and above.
