Move-out checklist for UK tenancies
A check-out report for UK rental properties, for landlords and letting agents recording condition at the end of a tenancy and comparing it against the check-in inventory and schedule of condition.

Complete the check-out and compare the property against the check-in inventory and schedule of condition. Allow for fair wear and tear, photograph anything you intend to deduct for, and evidence each deduction to the standard a deposit scheme adjudicator expects.
Check the front door operates smoothly and locks securely. Note the condition of the doorbell and entry lighting.

Check for condensation, penetrating damp and rising damp. A property must be fit for human habitation under the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018.

Compare against the inventory of furniture and contents supplied at move-in and note anything missing or damaged.
