How to sign a report

Been asked to sign an inspection report? You can review and sign it in any browser, on your phone or computer. You don't need an account or the app.

Open the report

From your invite. Your email asks you to review and sign the report. Select Review and sign and the report opens, ready for you. Replies go to the person who created the report.
From a link or QR code. Under Who's signing?, choose your name. Just reading? Select Continue to view the report.

If the report opens without asking who you are, select I'm signing in the bar at the bottom of the page, then choose your name.

Review the report

The bar at the bottom shows who you're reviewing as. Wrong name? Select Not you? Change.

Spot something the report missed? Add your own photos, videos, or notes before you sign.

Select Add photos or notes. It's in the bar at the bottom.
Pick a room. Rooms you've already added to show a tick.
Add what you saw. Select Upload photos/videos to add them, and type anything else in Notes. Select Save and continue when you're done.
Head back. Select Continue to return to the report.

You can change your notes or remove your photos and videos until you sign. What you add appears in the report under your name. See how review before signing works.

Sign

Select Sign report. It's in the bar at the bottom.
Confirm it's you. Tick I confirm I am the above person.
Draw your signature. Use your finger or mouse in the box. Select Erase to start again.
Select Submit.

After you sign

Get a copy. If we don't have your email, we'll ask for it. Enter it and select Save and continue, or select Skip. With your email, we send you a copy of the report and let you know as others sign.
Signing together? If someone else is with you, they can sign on your device straight away. Choose their name.
Not together? Select Copy report link and send it to them.

Once everyone has signed, everyone who gave their email gets the fully signed report.

Signing on the inspector's phone

If the inspector hands you their phone, select Sign next to your name. Review the photos, videos, and notes under Report summary, select Done reviewing, then sign and select Save. You can't add photos or notes this way. To add them, ask for the report link and sign from your own device.
